Greetings!
My name is Tiffany, and thank you for taking the time to follow me on this brand new journey. I recently began my senior year at the University of Florida. (Yes, I am almost finished! 😊) I needed to find an easy class to take in order to fill my schedule up. That's when I found HOS 1014. I had already decided that at some point in my life I wanted to learn how to garden, so I figured what's a better time to learn then now. I enrolled in the class, which brought me here to this point. Now, let me just clarify something I said earlier. . . I do not expect this to be an easy class for me. As someone who is afraid of ALL bugs, hates the heat, and does not like to get dirty, I know for a fact that I probably have my work cut out for me. So, in addition to being the girl that kills every plant she touches, now I have to figure out a way to overcome many of my normal dislikes. I am excited to be in this class and begin my gardening experience. I look forward to growing my crops and growing as a person. I believe gardening teaches us how to pay attention to detail, care for other living organisms, have patience, and in my case learn to enjoy the outdoors, or at the very least learn to navigate them. I am excited for what this journey will bring and I hope you are too! Please check back next week to see how my first day of gardening went.
Peace, Love & Veggies!
Tiffany
